چکیده

A method for calculating the parameter of Knothe time function was presented. The principle of predicting dynamic mining subsidence was discussed based to the relationship between the periodic fractures of main roof and surface subsidence. Pointed out there might be a section whose width was shorter than a mining unit when divided a workface into n equal mining elements, the section should be calculated specially in the algorithm. A model of predicting dynamic mining subsidence was made according to the Knothe time function and probability integral method. A model how to divide a workface and two coordinate transformation models among three coordinates also were made. An algorithm step of the dynamic prediction model for multi-face mining was designed and implemented. And the algorithm was tested by nine measured subsidence data in different times of some mine 1176 east face, the result showed that the prediction results agreed well with the observation data, and the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithm were demonstrated. Finally, the process of surface subsidence and deformation of 1176 east face was back analyzed.

Analysis on the Improved Time Function Model of Surface Subsidence

The surface subsidence process induced by underground coal mining is a dynamic process, but the existing time function models can’t reflect the regularity of surface subsidence with time properly. By investigating the whole development process of subsidence, subsidence velocity and subsidence acceleration with time, a new time function model is presented that takes the dynamic characteristics i...

Long-term stability analysis of goaf area in longwall mining using minimum potential energy theory

Estimation of the height of caved and fractured zones above a longwall panel along with the stability conditions of the goaf area are very crucial to determine the abutment stresses, ground subsidence, and face support as well as designing the surrounding gates and intervening pillars. In this work, the height of caving-fracturing zone above the mined panel is considered as the height of destre...

Meshing Error of elliptic cylinder gear based on tooth contact analysis

In order to study the dynamic meshing characteristics of the elliptic cylinder gear and obtain the meshing error of the gear transmission system, the two-dimensional static contact analysis of the gear tooth surface is carried out by using ANSYS software, and the key parts of the contact area of the tooth surface are determined. Then, the dynamic meshing model of the elliptic cylinder gear is e...

Assessment of South Pars Gas Field Subsidence Due To Gas Withdrawal

Withdrawal of oil and gas from reservoirs causes a decrease in pore pressure and an increase in effective stress which results to a reservoir compaction. Reservoir compaction will result in surface subsidence through the elastic response of the subsurface. Usually in order to determine the subsidence above a hydrocarbon field, the reservoir compaction must be first calculated and then the effec...
